Beauty is the aesthetic category that means perfection, harmonic combination of the object’s look that causes the aesthetic admiration in others. Beauty is the most important category of culture. Beauty always provoked talks and gossips. It aroused different feeling in people from the most fascinating and inspiring such as love, admiration, fascination, impression, delight, joy, creativity to the most awful such as envy, revenge, jealousy, hater, etc.
Narcissism
Narcissism is the disease reflected in self-admiration that is the extreme form of love to the personal look. In scientific literature this term appeared from the end of 19th century. But according to the official version it was introduced by the English doctor Ellison that referred this term to myth about Narcissus.
According to the myth Narcissus was the son of nymph that inherited the beauty of his mother but due to the irony he fell in love with himself. And really he was so beautiful that he couldn't fall in love with somebody else but himself. This beautiful person didn't accept the love of any woman. And after one of nymphs died because of the love to narcissus, the goddess of justice decided to punish the young man and when he saw his reflection in the mirror he fell in love with himself so much that he died from the sorrow near the pound. And the beautiful flower appeared on this place that got the name of the young man.
The problem of narcissism is known and very spread. There are a lot of people who can't stop admiring their reflection and receive pleasure from it. Of course it is not so sharp as the love of Narcissus nevertheless too much love to yourself can cause problems for other people. Such people are usually unable to establish loving relations with the opposite sex because they consider that they do the favour to another person allowing being together with him/her. This is the result of self-love and ignoring of other people. Nevertheless there will be the moment when person is going to feel lonely even with his/her own beauty.
