Beauty is the aesthetic category that means perfection, harmonic combination of the object’s look that causes the aesthetic admiration in others. Beauty is the most important category of culture. Beauty always provoked talks and gossips. It aroused different feeling in people from the most fascinating and inspiring such as love, admiration, fascination, impression, delight, joy, creativity to the most awful such as envy, revenge, jealousy, hater, etc.
Everything is beautiful
During different times and epochs the human beauty was interpreted and valued differently. During medieval times beautiful women were considered to be witches and they were burnt. In 16th century the ugliness filled the pictures and literature considered to be masterpieces. During the periods of war beautiful women were considered to be the strong women on whom it was possible to rely. And of course these periods were changed by the fascination with the beauty.
Nowadays beauty became the absolute cult. Beautiful people are looking at us from the advertising posters, covers of magazines, appear in commercials, etc. The show business is filled with stories and photos of very beautiful men and women and even extremely beautiful babies are looking at us from the labels of the bottles with baby food.
During all times people sacrificed and risked everything they had to become more beautiful. The literature heroes were doing everything available to look more attractive sometimes forgetting that beauty is not eternal in the modern world.
But we forget that we are created by nature and nature itself is the most beautiful. After all even the volcano eruption, inundation and tsunami look so beautiful carrying the destructive power. So why do we doubt in its competence? And who gave us the right to change the nature's creation with the help of surgery.
Beauty is the modern cult but it doesn't mean you are not beautiful.
