Beauty is the aesthetic category that means perfection, harmonic combination of the object’s look that causes the aesthetic admiration in others. Beauty is the most important category of culture. Beauty always provoked talks and gossips. It aroused different feeling in people from the most fascinating and inspiring such as love, admiration, fascination, impression, delight, joy, creativity to the most awful such as envy, revenge, jealousy, hater, etc.
Beauty kills
It is common opinion that it is easier to live for beautiful people and that the sphere of suffering is not for them. If to consider this topic attentively, results it is not so. As the English proverb goes: "It's luck, not looks, that counts". And parents always wanted to see their children happy not even beautiful.
Of course the attitude of society to beautiful people is more favourable for the development. But there are thousands of examples when beauty harms. First of all it can cause envy that may push away potential friends and sometimes even boyfriends/girlfriends.
Love is usually caused by beauty and if not love then sympathy that later turns into love. And such love doesn't know limits that may even harm killing and bringing scars and injuries. There is the case when the man was so in love with the girl that he poured out the acid on her face.
Another case of beauty harm is several suicides committed by women. The reason of their suicide was their beauty as according to them everybody treated them as if they were toys. And even despite their beauty the opposite sex was interested in nothing more but flirt and sex and not serious relationships.
There were also similar cases but not so tragic when beautiful people were bringing injuries to their body and face because of the treatment of other people. There are also cases when people turned to suicide because they lost their beauty after the catastrophe or disaster. Now tell me, do you want to be beautiful?
